TLAV Ahead Of The Curve Again: No Increased Risk of Myocarditis After COVID-19 Infection

Doctors like Dr. Peter McCullough are doing great work reporting on the fact that COVID-19 does not cause myocarditis. Here are some more resources from TLAV's coverage on this topic from mid 2022.

The lies that the establishment media have been espousing about COVID-19 for close to 3 years now are falling by the wayside, one by one. Not because new information is being introduced, but because people are seeing the information percolate to the surface from doctors and increasingly louder voices in the alternative and mainstream media.

Media outlets like The Last American Vagabond are consistently months, and often YEARS ahead of these reported “breaking” stories.

In a recent Substack post, Dr. Peter McCullough does a great job of dismantling the narrative that COVID-19 causes myocarditis. Dr McCullough cites a study from 2020 (published in 2021) that attempts to find cases of myocarditis among Big 10 college athletes. Of course, as Dr. McCullough points out, the study concluded on December 15, 2020, four days after the Emergency Use Authorization was issued for the COVID-19 “vaccine”. From Dr. McCullough’s Substack:

After finding just a handful of suspected cases in thousands of studies and no hospitalizations and deaths, the program closed just before the students were encouraged and some later mandated to undergo COVID-19 vaccination which has an FDA warning indicating the vaccines cause myocarditis.  It was a tragedy to close a costly screening program just before the REAL CAUSE of myocarditis was introduced into the colleges.

There is a study posted on the CDC website “Association Between COVID-19 and Myocarditis Using Hospital-Based Administrative Data” that claims that people are 16x more likely to get myocarditis as a result of COVID-19 infection. This was not a double-blind, random-control trial with several limitations that were admitted to in the study itself that cast a degree of doubt to the study's findings, including:

  • The risk estimates from the study reflect the risk for myocarditis among persons who received a diagnosis of COVID-19 during an outpatient or inpatient health care encounter and do not reflect the risk among all persons who had COVID-19.

  • Misclassification of COVID-19 and myocarditis is possible because conditions were determined by ICD-10-CM codes, which were not confirmed by clinical data and could be improperly coded.

  • Encounters for COVID-19, myocarditis, and COVID-19 vaccination occurring outside of hospital systems … are not included within this data set.

  • Underlying medical conditions and alternative etiologies for myocarditis (e.g., autoimmune disease) were not ascertained or excluded.

  • The obtained measures of association could be biased because of the choice of the comparison group (all patients without COVID-19) and if physicians were more likely to suspect or diagnose myocarditis among patients with COVID-19. (Biased; not a double-blind random-controlled trial)

In his Substack Post, Dr. McCullough further illustrates how these assertions persisted about the association between COVID-19 and myocarditis:

Yet, messaging persisted in the medical community that “COVID-19 causes more myocarditis than the vaccines.” This was based on flawed inpatient studies of acute severe COVID-19 where troponin levels are commonly elevated due to critical illness without adjudicated myocarditis.

In the clip above from June 2, 2022, Ryan analyzes one of the reports that Dr. McCullough also cites on his most recent Substack post. The mains study cited, entitled “The Incidence of Myocarditis and Pericarditis in Post COVID-19 Unvaccinated Patients—A Large Population-Based Study concludes:

Post COVID-19 infection was not associated with either myocarditis (aHR 1.08; 95% CI 0.45 to 2.56) or pericarditis (aHR 0.53; 95% CI 0.25 to 1.13). We did not observe an increased incidence of neither pericarditis nor myocarditis in adult patients recovering from COVID-19 infection.

It seems we have enough information to counter any claim that the risk of myocarditis is greater amongst unvaccinated people who catch COVID-19 than people who receive the COVID-19 vaccine. At the very least, this should open up the door for a healthy, robust debate on the topic. Instead, we are continuing to see people be censored for bringing issues like this to the forefront.

Please share this information far and wide to help others understand this information and strengthen their intellectual self-defense.
