modRNA vs. mRNA
No one outside of the medical or scientific community had heard of “Messenger RNA”, also known as mRNA, prior to the response to COVID-19. Now it is on the tip of everyone’s tongue. As of late, we have begun to hear the term “modRNA” being thrown around, which stands for “Modified RNA,” or more specifically Nucleoside-modified messenger RNA), and there seems to be some confusion about the distinction between the two. Despite what the mainstream messaging seems to be, modRNA and mRNA are two different things, but they want you to think that they are the same.

Messenger RNA (abbreviated mRNA) is a type of single-stranded RNA involved in protein synthesis. mRNA is made from a DNA template during the process of transcription. The role of mRNA is to carry protein information from the DNA in a cell’s nucleus to the cell’s cytoplasm (watery interior), where the protein-making machinery reads the mRNA sequence and translates each three-base codon into its corresponding amino acid in a growing protein chain.
Nucleoside-modified messenger RNA (modRNA)
modRNA is a synthetic version of “messenger RNA” where a portion of the nucleosides are replaced by modified nucleosides or by synthetic nucleoside analogues (nucleic acid analogues are compounds that have a similar structure to RNA and DNA that occur naturally)
As a side note, the field of study in which scientists attempt to edit RNA is known as Epitranscriptomics:
Epitranscriptomics is another field of post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression and come to be collecting researchers’ interest recently. Epitranscriptomics is mainly studying RNA editing that affects mRNA functions.
So basically what we are looking at is that mRNA is naturally occuring and lives in every cell of the body organically. Modified RNA (modRNA) is a synthesized version of mRNA, created in a Big Pharma lab, is designed to sneak past your body’s natural defenses and has very little long term safety data associated with its use in humans.
The article referenced in the video above states: “Modified RNA is distinct from messenger RNA, which simply comprises instructions for building proteins…” So clearly there is a difference.
It is alarming because all of the injection manufacturers, primarily Pfizer and Moderna (which if you notice, the name of the company quite literally is MOD RNA) both market and promote their injections as “mRNA vaccines”. But if you look a lot closer, you find out that they are actually modRNA.
This quote is taken directly from an FAQ page on Pfizer’s website:
Our first approved mRNA vaccine, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, utilizes modRNA. modRNA stands for nucleoside-modified messenger RNA and in the synthesis of the RNA used in this vaccine platform, some nucleosides, which are important biological molecules that constitute DNA and RNA, are replaced by modified nucleosides to help enhance immune evasion and protein production.
Here is another Pfizer press release from November 2022 that also discloses the use of modRNA in their BNT162b2 injection, NOT mRNA:
As you can imagine, it is hard to get straight answers on this topic with simple web searches. It is alarming that there is a campaign to either hide or completely omit the fact that we are dealing with synthesized and highly untested genetic-based injections, all the while giving the impression that we are dealing with a more organic approach.
We hope that as we continue to poke at this,and many other issues, more truth will come to light.
